Dear Readers:
If you checked out my last newsletter, you may have wondered why you were seeing a poem — a seven-stanza haiku in point of fact — rather than my usual trenchant political blather.
As it turns out, this abrupt format change wasn’t a passing fancy but rather a harbinger. I have decided to abandon the pontification racket entirely and return to the more personal work I’ve been developing since lockdown. This is the final realityreport.us.
I do intend to resume publishing but it won’t be on the Substack platform. Please let me know — by commenting at the end of this post or contacting me directly — if you would like to remain on my personal mailing list. I am grateful for your readership and hope you will continue to follow my work.

PS: In a completely unrelated development, Silverman disclosed he is partially emerging from retirement in search of remunerative work, whether editorial or something entirely different. Suggestions are welcome at 202-365-5554 and art@artsilv.com.
Change is good at any time. Enjoy the new things you will do.
Curious as to *why*?
